By visiting QuickSafe website, by submitting your personal data to QuickSafe, also by accessing, installing and/or using the QuickSafe Services you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and that you enter into legally binding relationship with QuickSafe, as well as you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with the rules of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the QuickSafe Services.

 

1.   What information do we collect? 

 

·       Information related to your account (“Personal information”) 

 

o We will collect data related to application usage information, such as IP address, approximate location (only country / region), transaction information; and when you contact us (for example, by email), you can choose to provide us with information, including information submitted to us when you fill in the online form, reply to the survey, and provide feedback. 


oEmail address. We ask for your email address and password as part of your registration. That ensures that we can communicate with you when we have any exciting announcements to make, service updates to advise or errors to report. Valid email address is also needed to retrieve a lost password and to make a VPN connection.


o Payment information. When you purchase a paid plan, we will collect your payment information. It help you restore subscription and use your premium accounts on other devices like Android and PC.


·       Information related to service 

 

o Usage information.  We collect information about how you interact with our services, how much bandwidth you use, and when you use our services.  

 

o Device information.  We collect information from the devices you use to access our services, including information about the applications you use to access us. For example, we may collect device identifiers, browser types, device types and settings, operating system versions, mobile, wireless, and other network information (such as Internet service provider names, operator names, and signal strength), and application version numbers.  

 

o Diagnostic information.  We may collect information about the nature of the request you make to the server (for example, the content requested, information about the devices and applications used to make the request, time stamps, and reference URLs). However, our VPN products do not record any information that associates your identity with VPN browsing activities. We will not keep any records showing the content you are browsing or accessing through VPN connection.  

 

o Location information.  Unless otherwise specified, we will not collect your location information based on your device's GPS or other device sensor data. However, we may collect your approximate location by calculating imprecise latitude and longitude based on your IP address to provide you with better services (for example, connecting you to the nearest, fastest VPN server). 


 

·       Information collected by third-party analytical tools 

 

o Our application integrates SDKs from multiple analysis service providers for application optimization. These third-party SDKs may also collect your information, such as gaid (Google Advertising ID on Android devices) or IDFA (advertising identifier on IOS devices), region (defined as location in a given language), location information and IP address. This policy does not apply to our third-party analysis tools. You can find their privacy policy on their website. The partners we choose to work with include but are not limited to flurry (oat Inc.).  appsflyer (appsflyer Inc.) and firebase (analysis platform of Google LLC), etc. The information they provide us is the aggregate analysis data. 

 

2.   How do we use your information 

 

·       Provide, maintain and support our services and troubleshooting. 

 

o Example: use information about how much bandwidth you use and how long you use our services to provide services according to the plans you have subscribed to; use threat and device information to determine whether some items pose potential security threats; use usage information to troubleshoot the problems you report to our services to ensure that our services operate normally. 

 

·       For billing and payment. 

 

o We use your information to perform billing management activities and process payments, which are necessary to meet our contractual obligations. 

 

·       Improve our service. 

 

o We want to provide you with the best service and user experience, so we need to constantly improve and optimize our services. To do this, we use your information to understand how users interact with our services. Example: we analyze certain usage, device, and diagnostic information to understand usage trends and user engagement with our services. 

 

3.   Data Security and Retention 

 

We use a range of management, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or modification. We are also constantly working to improve such safeguards. 

We usually keep your personal data for the time needed to provide services for you. We have strict policies to control the access and use of such data. Personal data is stored in the backup system for a limited time to prevent data loss. We will respect your wishes. If you want to delete your information, please contact us. 

 

4.   Data Shared 

 

Except as disclosed in this privacy policy, we will not share, sell, lease or trade your personal data with third parties. All the information we collect is for product optimization purposes only and will never be used for other purposes.

·       Precise location (GPS and network-based) and approximate location (network-based) 

 

o This permission is used to provide more accurate localization service based on the country / region and improve the user experience. 

 

·       Access information about networks 

 

o This permission is used to access the network to connect to the VPN server. 

 

·       Keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming 

 

o This permission is used to ensure that VPN connections are not interrupted when the application is in the background.
